SMORES

Making Smores on the fire pit in our backyard

Can Fisher fit anymore into that mouth?!

Grandma's Swing

The boys LOVE Grandma's swing.

Justin (almost 4 years old)

Fisher (21 months)

Hunter (21 months)

Justin has swung in this swing for many years. This is him at 11 months old.

Thanks Grandma Clark for sharing your swing!

All Horse Parade

We love to Celebrate the Lehi Round-Up. Thursday night is always the All Horse Parade. Anyone can ride in it; you just have to ride a horse. After the parade we have a BBQ at Tyler's mom's house.

Tyler and the boys

Jared, Sadie, Sydney & Justin sitting on the curb during the parade. As soon as the last horse passes you have to jump up and get out of the way or you are bound to get sprayed with the street sweeper cleaning up the horse poop! Yuck!

Justin loved the "baby horses" aka miniture horses.

My favorite was the Elders. They rode stick horses made from hockey sitcks. One even had a bike helmet on. It was a crack up.

Justin and his cousin, Brody, at the BBQ.

Fisher drank this entire can of soda pop. He was STICKY beyond belief!

Sprinkler!

This was the first sprinkler experience for Justin and Fisher. Justin stood back a ways and eventually would run through the side of the spray but never did run straight thru the middle. Fisher on the other had couldn't get enough of the water. He stood right in the middle of it and loved every second of it. However, the sandbox and wet boys don't mix well. That's according to mom; the boys didn't seem to mind all the sand sticking to them.

This was the begining of many more sprinkler days!

Christmas in June

This June we really did have a bit of Christmas. Grandpa Scott and Grandma Sing gave the boys a tramp for Christmas and we finally set it up. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!

Outdoor Summer Fun

We have had so many fun days outside this summer. This particular day Tyler was working late and me and the boys went outside to ride bikes. We started with bikes and ended up at the neighbors. The kids played in the dirt and had lots of fun. When it was time to go home I had to take Fisher kicking and screaming.

Hunter does well riding in the big red car because there is a floor that we put in the car so he doesn't fall out. He does great until he tries to stand up in it. Now why doesn't this car have a seat belt?

Justin has learned to ride his bike really well. Fisher loves to try to ride Justin's bike too.

I love this picture of Fisher. His body language is screaming, "Yeah, I'm big."

Justin and his best buddy, Wyatt. (Justin was standing on a small dirt hill and Wyatt wasn't. Justin is taller than Wyatt but this picture is very deceiving.)

This is Kierra. Justin really enjoys playing with her too.

This summer has been so much fun!

Ponderosa Campground

For Father's Day weekend this year we went camping. This is one of Tyler's favorite traditions to do with our family. This year we went to the Ponderosa Campground. It is in Nephi Canyon on the Nebo Scenic Loop. This is now our favorite campground to go to. It was so beautiful, clean and the kids had a blast.

This was the Gerber Family Campout this year. My parents, little brother Kjell and his wife, and my little sister and her family went with us. My older sister and her family stayed home this year and went to baseball games with their son; we missed them.

We rode bikes, went for walks, painted rocks, played with bubbles, walked Daisy, ate food, and did beads. Will made an awesome hammock out of kite string. The weather was great until the day we came home and it rained and rained on us.

Fisher has really loved otter pops this summer. He does pretty good with them.

Mom, Fisher and Hunter rockin the sunglasses.

This was our campsite. The tall trees made amazing shade.

The river was raging and it was right off our campsite. The edge of the cement pad where our picnic table was was a cliff down to the river. It was a bit scary for us. The kids did really well and stayed away. We decided that it was scary for them too so they weren't interested in being close to it.

Here is Will in his awesome hammock that he made from kite string!

Justin loves to paint rocks.

Kjell played with Hunter. Hunter was doing great pulling himself up to standing in the pack-n-play.

Fisher and Soren played with the trucks for a long time. They would roll them down the little asphalt slope by the picnic table. They were cute together.

Justin and Jason: best buddies.

We celebrated Father's Day the day we came home. The weather was crummy but we still had fun. This was one attempt of many to get a picture with the 3 boys and Dad.

The twins were so tired that they both fell asleep before we got out of the canyon!

Happy Father's Day Tyler! Until next year......

Self-Feeding

Hunter is working on self-feeding. He is almost 21 months in this picture.

Yes, that is a Cheeto. Cheetos are good to start self-feeding because they are big enough to hold and easy to munch on and practically melt in your mouth. Its also easy on teething gums! Thanks to Gary (Hunter's OT) we are always trying new and crazy things to eat. The one I have the hardest with is beef jerky. Yeah, if you can believe it, Hunter's feeding therapy consists of munching on beef jerky. I'm still trying to decide if he likes it or not. So far the Cheetos are his favorite!

New Bike Helmet

Tyler got Justin this new bike helmet. It is pretty cool. It comes down by his ears and protects his whole head. Tyler wanted to get one with a skull and cross bones but I had to be a little less fun and a little more practical so we went with the plain grey one. He does really good wearing it every time he rides his bike.

We had to measure his head so we could get the right size. True to Gerber fashion he has a large head for a kid his age. His head measure only 3 cm smaller than mine!

Ice Cream in the Van

About 5 years ago I went to Salina to see my girlfriend (Tiff, this is for you). We were out bumming around and stopped to get my friends daughter and ice cream cone. My friend just wipped around and handed this ice cream cone to her almost 2 year old! I couldn't believe my eyes! That's when I said it, "I will NEVER give my child an ice cream in the carseat!" Yeah, that was before I had kids. Never say never! haha. Thanks Tiff for the little lesson in life! It is possible to survive ice cream drips down inside the buckles of the car seat!

Hunter is still working on self feeding so poor little guy didn't get his own. He got some tastes from big-brother-Justin! Thanks for sharing.

Fisher's Favorite Place

Fisher loves his bottle on the couch. Whenever I make him a bottle he runs into the TV Room and jumps up on the couch. At bed time when he is done with his bottle he will run into the kitchen, throw the bottle in the sink and then runs downt he hall right to his bed. It is so amazing that he knows just what to do! He is the easiest child to put to bed...ever!

Sometimes he can get his leg in the funniest postions. He will sometimes put his foot up on his opposite knee like he is just kicking back!
