Camping for Memorial Day

I am way behind on blogging so this is the beginning of my attempt to catch up.

For Memorial Day this year we went camping at Strawberry Bay. When we booked the campsite in February we had no idea that it was going to be snowing for Memorial Day weekend.

Our friends Heather and Scott came with us. This was the first time we went camping together. The kids got along great. They rode bikes every minute the weather would allow them to. Justin's favorite activity was doing beads with the other kids. Doing beads consisted of stringing beads on a string and the tying off the end. Justin loved this and is now an activity we do at our house and one of our favorite camping activities.

We spent a lot of time in the truck going on rides. This is the view from our window.

I tried to get a picture of the 3 boys together. This is what I got:

Rainbow Reservoir

The first camp trip of the year was dubbed the Father & Son Fishing Trip (Tyler couldn not attend our ward's Father and Sons Campout). Tyler took Justin and went to Rainbow Reservoir with a friend from work and his son, Joe & Tallon. They caught fish, slept good and had fun.

Tallon and Joe

Justin and Tallon had twinner jammies.

I'm raising myself

Justin loves frosting. I love frosting. Tyler says I am raising myself.

Justin made my bed

One morning Justin informed me that he was making my bed today. The bed is like my little "must do" every morning. I have a certain way I like it and that is how I want it. But, Justin was so sweet to make it for me. Yes, I left it this way the entire day!

I live in a mess

Julie this post is for you.

A long time ago I made this post. "My Big Break". Julie laughs at me all the time because I was so happy to clean my house rather than do soemthing else while all 3 kids were at tenders. This post is to assure you that I turely do live in a mess...especially under the stove.

I sweep everyday! The kids love the sandbox but it is a mess.

This is under the stove. No I did not sweep it out, I put the drawer back in. hehe. I will tackle under the stove and behind the fridge another day.

I live in a mess but I love my 3 little boys and boy do they create a mess each and every day! I love it.

Hunter Pulling to Stand

At about 20 months old Hunter conquered pulling to stand. He loved the toy box that Tyler built for him. It is two rubber maid containers bolted together with a stack of books in the bottom container. The books make it heavy enough that when Hunter holds on the top edge he wont tip the toy box over. Hunter really took off with this. It only took him about 1 day to get from tall knees to standing. We were so happy! One of Hunter's goals by 24 months is to pull to stand and start cruising furniture. This is a huge milestone for Hunter!

Hooray for Hunter!!
