Justin started Kindergarten today! He was so excited this morning. Here he is all ready to go with his Mario backpack.
Justin is now a Thunder Ridge Rapture. Here he is with the rapture that is in the front office.
I took Justin to school this morning so that I could see how things were set up. I was a little nervous about how they would be getting off the bus and finding where they needed to be. We got tot he school early enough that we could watch the neighbor kids get of the bus and get to their classes. Here Justin and Wyatt were playing on the rocks. They didnt seem concerned about the buses much. But it made me feel a whole lot better to watch.
Before going into their classrooms they were able to play on the big toy just for Kindergarteners. Here is Justin, Kierra and Cameron.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Justin today! He looked like he fit right in.
Here are some of the neighborhood kids: Halle Foster, Justin, Jackson Melville and Wyatt Page.
After they played on the playground for a few minutes they had to line up along the fence for their teacher to call them in. Starting with the girl in the purple is Ellie Dangerfield, McKenna Grimley, Kierra Saunders and Justin. The girls are all neighborhood kids that are in Justin's class.
Here they are getting ready to go into class.
And here he is waving bye-bye to me.
Justin's teacher is Mrs. Glover. Justin said his favorite thing about her is that she is nice. His favorite thing bout today was having 3 recesses. When he got home from school he called Tyler to tell him all about it. He told Tyler about using scissors, and markers, and glue and making an art project. He liked playing at recess and he is so excited to have the sound bag.
Justin brought home the "Sound bag". This is a bag that he has to fill up with objects that start with the letter Y. He was also asked to bring a treat that starts with Y. He has to take the bag back tomorrow!
I think that mom is going to like this school stuff. I know that Justin is going to love it! We will have to see what Fisher and Hutner think of Justin being at school.
