Water Play

Another fun day playing in the backyard.  Slip-n-Slide is always the water attraction of choice!  It is always so much fun when friends join us!

FHE - Swim Night

June 25, 2012.

For Family Home Evening we went swimming at Grandma's house.

Justin has turned into the swim champion ever since he did swimming lessons.  He loves to swim.  His favorite thing to do at Grandma's pool is jumping off the diving board.

Justin's 5 - Family Party

June 24, 2012.

Justin's 5 and we celebrated with family a couple days before his actual birthday. 

He was super excited about the new slip-n-slide from Grandma Clark!

His surprise from mom and dad was a razor scooter!  He was so excited.  (I didn't even get a picture of him on it.)

Justin's 5 - Friend Party

Justin turned 5 and we had a Carnival Birthday Party!!

His birthday is June 26th. 

Aunt Jody came to do the face painting and all the kiddos were scared to do it.  Fisher was the first brave one to do it and then all the kids lined up.

Justin got a star!

The face painting was a big hit.  Maya got a duck, Easton a star, Jason a baseball and bat, Justin a star, Keegan a baseball and bat, Fisher a football and Wyatt got a star.

Justin loved opeing his presents.  He got some very nice things from his friends. Thanks everyone.

The party goers were: Easton Atwood, Jason Christiansen, Maya Newbold, Fisher, Jackson Melville, Cameron Nault, Justin, Hunter, Keegan Worthen and Wyatt Page.

Fisher was Tyler's right hand man for the candy cannon!

The kids loved the candy cannon the most.  The cannon was up on the deck and Tyler and Fisher shot the candy out onto the back grass.  The kids ran for the candy to fill their bags.

The carnival party was a lot of fun.  The day before the party our neighborhood was evacuated for the Dump Fire.  We still had the birthday party but we moved it indoors because the air was still a little smokey.  We had some fun games.  We had a bean bag toss, tin-can-knock-down, ring toss, balloon grab, and the indoor swing.  It turned out to be a fun party for the kids!  Thanks to Aunt Jody and Grandma Clark for all the help.

Ponderosa Campground

June 16-17, 2012.

Father's Day weekend always means a cmaping trip for our family!  This year we went to one of our favorite campgrounds and that's Ponderosa on the Nebo Loop.  Grandpa Scott and Grandma Sing and Kristal and John and their family came with us.

Fisher and Soren were crazy on their bikes.  They had so much fun riding together.

Hunter was laughing at Grandpa Scott in this picture.  This was the hardest I had ever seen Hunter laugh.  It was so stinking cute.  My dad just kept playing with him and he would laugh and laugh.  He had fun playing in the big red car with Grandpa.

The kids really enjoyed painting rocks.  Jason, Soren, Justin, Emmie and Fisher.  They all painted about 2 rocks and 2 sticks each!

Fisher loved painting rocks!  I tried getting him to take off the shades but he wasn't interested.

Justin painted a rock master piece and then he painted a couple sticks.  So particular....I wonder where he gets it from.  From his dad for sure.

Grandpa helped the kids make a tight rope.  They practiced and practiced until they could get across it without help.

The boys especially liked playing in the river. Fisher is one water-loving-little-boy!

Even Hunter got in on the action.  He had to quit early for a little nap.

Justin thought throwing the rocks in was the best thing ever. 

Tyler, Fisher and Justin all braved the cold cold water.  They had lots of fun!

We love Ponderosa Campground.  Happy Father's Day Tyler.

What is a mom to do when all 3 kids fall asleep on the way home from a play date?

and how lucky is that mom when she can move them to the living room and all 3 of them say asleep?!

Swimming Lessons

June 12-22, 2012.

Justin had his 1st ever swimming lessons this summer!  The lessons were at Grandma Sing's swimming pool.  Justin and his cousin Jason were in the same session.  Their teachers were Kayden and Makiah Meling.  Justin really liked Kayden.

Kayden is teaching Justin to bob without plugging his nose. Jason is waiting on the stairs for his turn.

Justin did a great job learning to swim.  Some of his favorites were bob-to-safety, ice cream scoops, monkey-airplane-soldier, pushing off the side on his back and straight leg kicks.
