The milk routine

September 9, 2013

Every night is the same.  Milk.  After the boys get in their jammies they have a glass of milk.  Justin likes chocolate, Fisher likes strawberry and Hunter likes vanilla.  Here the boys are waiting for their milk.

Hunter has just started to pull himself up to the counter.  He knows he is getting milk and he is as excited as Justin and Fisher.

Some nights I get in a rush to get them in bed but "milk time" is a fun time that I never want to forget.

Welcome Friends to Ophir Camp

September 6-8, 2013

Ophir is our favorite camp spot...ever!  We always go with the Clark family every year in July.  We decided that we wanted to invite some of our friends and possibly start a new tradition.

Here is the group:  (in no particular order) Foster, Muse, Udy, Richmond, Thayn, Parker, Eagar, Lovell, and Clark.

Kolter hauled out everyone's bikes in his horse trailer.  He laughed and said he was afraid that if he got pulled over he would be taken for a bicycle thief.   I am glad the bikes (and Kolter) all made it safely to Ophir.

The sandbox is always a hit with this kids.

Fisher wanted to take a shower in the outdoor shower on our trailer.  He undressed himself.

 The sandbox again

Justin riding his bike.  The kids ride for hours around the asphalt loop.

Hunter taking a nap with his shades.

Tyler and Justin

Justin and Nate playing frizbee....giant frizbee.

Hunter played so good in the pack and play.  Hunter loves to be outside playing.

Joe Richmond and Tyler brewing up our dutch oven chicken for dinner.

It was supposed to rain on us a little but we had no idea that it was going to be a down pour!

So during the rain we did beads.

And then after the rain the kids played in the water and the mud.

Where there is water... there you will find Fisher.

The Udy Family

The Richmond Family

The Thayn Family

Justin and Nate played so well in the big red car. They took turns pushing each other down the hill on the asphalt loop.  They had so much fun and it was fun watching them get along so well.

Justin and Fisher really like their bunk beds in the trailer.  Here they are on Justin's bed playing the DS for a minute before bed.  The boys sleep so good when we go camping cause they get so much fresh air and old fashion playtime!

Everyone has so much fun I think we will try it again next year!

Guardsman's Pass

September 1, 2013

We decided to go for a ride and went up to Guardsman's Pass.  Tyler or I had never been there before.  It was windy which made it super cold.  The view was amazing!

This picture does not do it justice.  I also doesn't look very steep but it was!

Me and Hunter

Fisher would not take a picture.  It was too cold to get out of the van.

1st Gondola Ride

September 1, 2013

While on our Park City Vacation we went on our first ever gondola ride.  It was pretty fun.  The Gondola left from just above our condo.

Justin, Fisher and Grandma Sing in the gondola at the loading dock.....
 ....and going up the hillside.

Here we are at the top.

My parents

Tyler and Hunter in the gondola on the way back down the hill.

The view from the ride...

It was a fun way to spend the afternoon.  The ride was easy going and the views were beautiful.

Justin's first lost tooth

August 31, 2013

Justin lost his very 1st tooth at Park City!!  It was so exciting!!  He got his first visit from the tooth fairy while on vacation!

Justin's note to the tooth fairy explains.......  "I lost a tooth but it fel down the senk."  He wrote the note all by himself.  Since the tooth was lost he put the note under his pillow in its place.

What really happened is that Justin was brushing his teeth; I came in and was trying to hurry him along.  I splashed water on his foamy spit in the sink not knowing his tooth was in that foamy spit.  I washed it down the drain!  I felt so bad.   Justin was certain that the tooth fairy would understand and would be ok with a note.  And she was....and she spoiled him with $3 for having such a good attitude about mom washing it away.

Justin was pretty excited about loosing his first tooth.  He wanted to tell his grandma's and his friends.  He had to call his best friend, Wyatt, and tell him what happened.

Park City 2013

August 31, 2013

Park City it one of the boy's favorite places to go in the summer time.  One of the reasons they love it is because we spend a day at the Mountain Side Resort on the Alpine Slide and the other attractions there.

Hunter likes riding the carousel ... this time on the zebra.

Fisher always wants to ride the airplanes.  He especially likes to go up high.

Fisher was brave enough (and barely big enough) to try the climbing wall.
He got up about as high as Tyler could reach.

Justin did pretty good at the climbing wall for his first time ever.

After the climbing wall Justin and Fisher climbed around on the rock formations.

Justin at the highest point!

Fisher in action....

While Justin and Fisher played Grandma Sing took care of Hunter and Grandpa Scott.  They made it easy on her by taking naps.  Grandpa can sleep anywhere.  Look at Hunter all kicked back and relaxed.... his foot up on his knee and he hands behind his head.

Fisher had fun on the climbing web.

Fisher is his dad...tongue and all.

Justin on the climbing web.

We love coming here as a family.  We hope it will never get old for our boys.  Happy Birthday Tyler!!  What a fun way to spend the day.
