Please Help

My friend's brother & sister-in-law are going through a great trial right now! Their son, Karter, was diagnosed with SCIDS at 8 months old. They are trying to earn a little extra money to help out with the many trips to Primary Children's Hospital.... check out this blog....

http://www.karterskritters.blogspot.com/

This is a quote from their blog....
"SCIDS (otherwise know an Severe Combined Immunodeficiency)is where a child is born with either no immune system, or a non working immune system. We were in the Primary Childeren's Hospital in Salt Lake City for six months, where he underwent chemo and a bone marrow transplant. "

Thanks for taking a look!

An Actual Date Night

Tonight Tyler and I went on an actual date. We met up with a good friend of Tyler's for dinner (it only took about 3 weeks of trying to plan and make happen). It was so much fun to have dinner where someone waited on us and where we didn't have to worry about Justin and what he would eat and what he would through. Plus, memory lane is always a good laugh.

Thanks Josh and Kellie for a fun night on the town!

Coloring Eggs

Yesterday, Justin and I went to Grandma Clark's to color eggs with the cousins. We had so much fun. I didnt know if Justin would be too interested in actaully getting up to the table to dye the eggs. I was surprised when he jumped right up there with the other kids. The first egg we were going to color was going to be yellow. I handed Justin an egg and then held out the spoon for him to put the egg on so I could ever-so-gently lower it into the dye, when Justin just plopped it right into the dye with a splash. Well, that was the end of the spoon. It was fun and he was so proud to show his dad all of the eggs that he colored.

After we colored eggs we went outside and played. We swung in the swing, played sidewalk chalk, threw the ball, ran around-and-around the tree, and wore mom right out. It didnt surprise me when Justin fell asleep in the car before we got home. But as soon as he woke up he had to show Tyler his Easter eggs. What a cute kid! Thanks Grandma Clark!!

Mom & Justin

Justin smiling for the camera!

Here is Justin and Cousin Brody. They are quite the buds. Brody always wants to wrestle with Justin but Justin doesnt quite know what to think or do! It is so much fun to watch them play.

Kennedy, Sidney, and Sadie

After playing outside the kids were quite hungry. While Grandma was making PB&J's for everyone I walked into the living room and found Kennedy reading to Justin. Justin loves to be read to so this worked out perfect for me. Kennedy is 7 years old!

A few of Justin's favorite things....

Justin LOVES doing his puzzles. This puzzle is the alphabet. When you put the piece in its place it tells you the letter and what it is for...."B, is for ball". Justin can do the entire puzzle by himself. He even says some of them by name.

Justin is still my little dish washer. He LOVES the water. If I put him up to the sink (rather, when he gets himself up tot he sink) he waits until I am not watching and he gets down off his chair and gets more things to wash. Usually he gets all of the pans. He is stinking cute when he washes dishes. He's not so cute when I tell him that he is done and that it is time to get down. He is such a cheese ball for the camera. Isn't he cute!

Breakfast

The other day I walked into the kitchen and saw that Justin had already found himself breakfast! Yes, that would be a cupcake.
