iPad Fever

November 2012.

We have had a rash of the iPad fever around here.  The boys want to play it non stop.  Hunter has even found an interest in it now.

Here Fisher is playing with Justin close by for "assistance" and Hunter just taking it all in.

Here Justin is helping Hunter play by keeping it on the game that Hunter likes.

Hunter was able to manage some time without the brothers "help".

I just love this picture!  Justin is so intensley playing and Fisher is bitting his fingers in suspense.  And little Hunter is just trying to get in on the action from any angle he can find.  He must have been playing Spiderman.

The iPad has been so much fun.  The boys love it and I love how they can play together or watch one another.

Fisher Randomness

October 2012.

This post is all about Fisher.

Fisher's first attempt at Potty training did not go as I expected.  He was all excited about wearing underware and throwing his diapers in the garbage.  That is where the excitement stoped.  Tyler and Justin went hunting so I thought it would be a perfect time to potty train.  Oh was I wrong.  It was pure torture on both our parts.  It was so sad, he was just lying on the couch with his blanket, pillow and his dinosuar crying and mopping.  It was supposed to be better than this by day 3!!  He was miserable.  I asked if he wanted his diaper and he perked right up.  I finally gave up and put a diaper on him.  He was so happy!

Here he is so happy.  These were the jammies I gave him after waking up dry the first morning.  He is smiling so big here because this is 2 days later and he had a diaper on.  The diaper is where that smile is coming from.

I just love that face.  A little michief mixed with innocence.

This is him on his last day of Itt-Bitty-Ball. He was proud of his T-shirt.

Fisher's constant companion is a weapon.  His weapon of choice on most days is a sword.

Fisher playing with the bean bucket in the kitchen. He likes to do this when Hunter is at school so that he cant bug him.

Fisher playing with the farm.  He loves the little fence that Uncle Shay made for us.

My smiley!  Love those white teeth!

Fisher is such an amazing little boy! He has been so patient with Justin and Hunter in school and all the running back and forth that we do.  Fisher has become my errand buddy and he is so good when we are out an about.  Fisher has a fun little personality and we just love him.

Jack O' Lanterns

November 1, 2012.

Halloween night was so busy and a little crazy with Tyler at work so we never had a chance to light the carved pumpkins.  We made it a family activity the night after.  The boys were excited to see their pumpkins all lit up and glowing.

The top one is Justin's pirate jack o' lantern.

The Ninja pumpkin wouldn't stay lit but it is infront of the top pumpkin. Hunter's dude in the shades is on the bottom step.

Here is a close up of Hunter's dude in the shades jack o' lantern.

The boys really had fun with their pumpkins this year.  We were a little disappointed that the ninja ones wouldn't stay lit.

Trick-or-Treating

October 31, 2012.

After all of the Halloween Parades, going to Tyler's work, and Grandpa Clark's and Grandm Nancy's we rushed home for dinner.  Then we were able to go trick-or-treating.  We were sad that Tyler had to work tonight.

Here we are as the Toy Story Team. Mom as Mrs. Potato Head, Fisher as Woody, Justin as the army guy, and Hunter as Buzz Lightyear.  Tyler was Andy (he didnt dress up but figured he could pass as Andy).

Doug and Wyatt dress up at Mario and Luigi.

Maggie and Gwen.

Maddi as twister.

Trick -or-Treating this year was Fisher's real first year.  He had so much fun trying to keep up with Justin and his friends.  He did pretty good.  We only had to skip every third house for him to close the gap.  It was so much fun.

Here they are at the Recksick's house.  Fisher, Justin, Wyatt and Stephen stayed together most of the night.

Hunter had lots of fun going door-to-door too.  He got some candy in his little trunk.

After going around our neighborhood we went to the Grandma Sing's and Grandpa Scott's.  Tyler met us here from work.  We missed some of the cousins but some were still there.

My cute mom and dad dressed up too.  The kids think it is sooo cool.

Buzz, AKA Hunter, was so cute looking at the books. Tyler just loves this picture.

Our last stop was at Grandma Clark's.  It was fun to end our night with Grandma.  We got into our jammies and played a while then we went home.  All in all, we had a fun Halloween this year.

Halloween at Tyler's Work

October 31, 2012.

Every year Tyler's work has a Trick-or-Treating hour.  It is so fun to go see where Tyler works and the boys like seeing their Dad and his desk.

This year was the best year so far.  There were lots of activities to do. Almost every candy bucket had an activity with it.  It was a lot of fun.

Since we had the Toy Story theme going on Tyler just told everyone he was Andy. Haha.

Fisher was the cutest darn cowboy ever.

Hunter in class

October 31, 2012.

Following the Halloween Parade at Hunter's school I stayed and helped with the class Halloween Party.  Grandma Sing took Fisher shopping to Walmart.

Here Hunter is at snack time with Miss Lisa.  Hunter was only interested in books.  This is his chair.  It has a seatbelt and wheels!  This chair pushes right up under the table so he can participate with the class.

Here he is eating snacks and decorating his sugar cookie.

Hunter was dressed up as Buzz Lightyear but I took him out of it for class because it is a little hot.  So underneath Buzz he was Batman.

I really enjoyed spending time in his class.  I wa able to see how they do things . . . sort of . . . it was a CRAZY day to say the least.  The activities included pumpkin bowling, q-tip skeletons, decorating cookies, and the sensory table.  Hunter just wanted to play with the books.  He kept crawling over to the book table and I kept trying to get him to participate but he just kept at the books. I finally gave up and let him play.

I left that day a little overwhelemed but still had fun.

Halloween Parade - Thunder Ridge

October 31, 2012.

Justin had a Halloween parade at his school.  Tyler went to see Justin and Fisher and I went to Hunter's parade.  Justin was dressed up at an army guy.

I wasn't able to get a picture of him at school so I snagged this one as he got off the bus!

Halloween Parade - Pony Express

October 31, 2012.

Hunter's school had a Halloween Parade and even the preschool classes were able to participate.  I went to help Hunter walk thru the classrooms.  Fisher was able to come and be a part of it all too.  Hunter was Buzz Lightyear, Fisher was Woody, and I was Mrs. Potato Head.

It was a fun morning.  I was hotter than hot because I felt like I had a quilt wrapped around me because I was stuffed with quilt batt.

We had a fun morning.  Pushing Hunter on his bike was the best idea ever!

Clark Punky Party 2012

October 29, 2012.

Every year we have the Clark Punky Party.  We eat and carve pumpkins.  The menu always consists of sloppy joes, nachos, cheese balls and crackers, and veggie trays.  We have so much fun carving pumpkins.

Justin was so excited to carve. He kept telling us that he was old enough to use the knife by himself.  However, Tyler did ALL the carving.  I did my part and cleaned them out before we went.

Justin and Fisher were so interested in Tyler's every cut.

Hunter eating some snacks.

The finished products.  The big pumpkin is Uncle Lee Bob's, then Fisher's and Hunter's. Justin is still eyeing his over.

Once again it was another successful pumpkin carving with the Clark Family.

Justin's Blender Badge

October 29, 2012.

Justin earned his Blender Badge!  He was so proud of himself and I was a pretty proud momma too!

His badge is that little blue circle on his shirt!

To earn the blender badge Justin had to pass off blending letter sounds.  The letter sounds were in two-letter vowel-constanant combinations.  He worked really hard on this for about a month!!

Way to go Justin!  We are so proud of you.

You have earned your Alphabet Crown, your Blender Bagde and now we wish you luck on your Golden Key!

Gerber Pumpkin Party

October 27, 2012.

We had the anual Gerber Halloween Party at our house this year.  We ate soup and carved pumpkins. It is always so fun to get together and make memories while starting new family traditions.  This was the first year we have carved pumpkins together.  It was fun for the kiddos.

Here are our pumpkins:  Fisher wanted a Ninja, Justin wanted a pirate, and Hunter got a dude in sunglasses.  They turned out pretty cool.

Fisher was so excited when we showed him his Ninja pumpkin.

Thanks everyone for a fun night!

The Halloween Karate Party

October 27, 2012.

Justin's best friend, Wyatt, invited him to go to a Halloween Party at his Karate Dojo.  Justin was so excited and had a blast.

Wyatt was Luigi and Justin was an Army guy.

When I took Justin over to Wyatt's I asked Wyatt what he had on his face.  This is how the conversation went:
Hillary: "Wyatt, what do you have on your face?"
Doug, Wyatt's Dad: "He grew a beard!"
Wyatt: "I didnt' grow a beard. It's a fake stache."

I laughed so hard. Wyatt was so serious about it.

More pictures coming.........

Hunter Spoon Feeding Himself

October 13, 2012.

Hunter is doing so good with spoon feeding himself. He is reaching out for his spoon on nearly every bite now. I scoop the food and then hold the spoon in front of his face about 6 inches away. I wait until he reaches out for it. When he gets a hold of it I let go and he puts it in his mouth. He is doing so good with this.

Here is he with the spoon in his mouth and he is trying to figure out just what to do with it.

A lot of the times he turns the spoon over in his mouth in his attempt to get the spoon to come out.

He is still working on getting the spoon out of his mouth but that will come!  This is a big step for Hunter.

Rhino B & A

October 13, 2012.

Tyler finished his transformation of the Rhino.

Here is the before.......

..........Here is the after!

Thanks for talking me into a Rhino. It is going to be so much fun!

1st Rhino Ride as a Family

October 13, 2012.

Here we are on our first FAMILY Rhino ride.  It was so much fun!  Thanks to Tyler for converting the 2 seater to a 5-seater!  The boys liked it.  This is on the hills by our house.

The boys: Justin, Hunter and Fisher.  They look tough in their new helmets and their shades.  Fisher looks a little in pain... not pain... Hunter was bugging him.

Justin was so cute. He held Hunter's hand the entire time. If Hunter tried to take his hand away Justin just grabbed it and held on; finally Hunter just gave in and left it there.  We were so proud of Justin protecting like he always does.

This is the view from where we turned around. It was getting chilly.

I was a nervous nelly.  I was so worried about the boys.  I kept turning around so much that I finally sat nearly sideways in my seat.  By the time we got home I calmed down just a little bit. We had fun!
