It's official, I'm a loser

The Gerber Family biggest loser contest is over. I won! I lost 36.7 lbs and 17 inches in three months. My sister Kristal gave me a run for my money. Tyler came in a close third, losing 23.9 lbs and 11 inches. In total, everyone lost 120.5 lbs all together.

I'm not done. More to go.

A typical day for Hillary

This is a typical day for me and the kids:

*Hunter wakes up at about 6:30 am
* Pack Tyler a lunch and make breakfast
*Eat breakfast with Tyler (this is sometimes the quietest time Tyelr and I have together)
*Justin wakes up
*Tyler leaves for work
*Justin eats breakfast
*Feed Hunter breakfast (mush and fruit)
*Fisher wakes up (he never cries, just waits for me to come get him)
*Feed Fisher breakfast (mush and fruit)
*Bathe & dress the twins
*Convince Justin to wear clothes and not jammies
*Shower
*Feed Hunter and put down for nap (hopefully by 9:30)
*Feed Fisher and put down for nap
*Get ready for the day (if I am lucky)
*Play with Justin
*Pick up the house
*Twins get up from nap and play
*Do exercises with Hunter
*Lunch for me and Justin
*Feed Twins again
*Afternoon naps for twins (hopefully by 2:00)
*Let Justin play with a friend or go outside
*Feed the twins again (mush and veggies)
*Have dinner
*clean up while Tyler studies
*put twins to bed
*put Justin to bed
*Tyler studies some more
*sit on couch to relax
*go to bed (usually way too late)
*get up in the night to feed Hunter and sometimes Fisher
*start all over

I am busy but I love being a mom and I love my boys. Things continue to get easier. Thanks to Tyler's mom who comes to help me with the twins so I can go to the grocery store and spend one-on-one time with Justin. Thanks to her we have clean clothes to wear. I am sure she folds more laundry around here than I do.

Next week the routine is sure to change.

How is it possible?

Everyone wants to know how it's possible for Fisher to weigh 6 lbs more than Hunter. This is how.......

I think the saying goes something like this..."You are what you eat." It boils down to one thing, Fisher is a better eater.

Something new for everyone

Justin got a new bike for Easter The twins got a new side-by-side stroller

Tyler got a new truck.
And I got a new vaccum. Sorry no photo. (The stroller is really for me anyway.)
We are spoiled rotten.

7 1/2 months

This was supposed to be the 7 month post but I am a few weeks late and before I know it the twins are going to be 8 months old.

Fisher

  • about 21 lbs
  • AWESOME sleeper
  • loves to sit up to play
  • eats rice cereal and oatmeal
  • likes fruits more than veggies
  • LOVES to watch Justin do anything and everything
  • full of smiles
  • likes being thrown in the air
  • enjoys "wrestling" Justin (with mom's help)
  • happy, happy, happy
  • likes to be outside
  • rolls from back to tummy
  • Nicknames: Fish, tubba-tubba, and smiley

Hunter

  • about 15 lbs
  • has one tooth on bottom
  • likes his bottle super warm
  • still working on rolling over but can roll from back to side
  • likes the saucer
  • loves to "kick-back" in the high chair
  • has his hands in his mouth constantly
  • likes to be snuggled
  • seems to like veggies better than fruit
  • always awake to see Dad off to work
  • he's our little night owl
  • eats rice cereal and oatmeal
  • Nicknames: H-Dog and skinny-minnie

We love the twins and are so glad they are in our family!

"Let me do it by myself."

Justin is so independent. He likes to do everything "by myself". Here are just a few things he just has to do with no help.

* Anything with Dad's baby yellow screwdriver.
* Vaccuming. Don't get any ideas...he's not for hire.
* Dressing himself. Everything went on backwards for a while.

* Making his own breakfast. He needs a little supervision on this one.
* Dumping the soap in the washing machine.
* Setting the washing machine on the right cycle.

Things that I dont have pictures of that I should:
* buckling the belts in his carseat
* opening doors to go into any building
* brushing his teeth
* washing his own body and hair in the shower
* mixing the macaroni & cheese
* putting a DVD in the DVD player
* making his own peanut butter and honey sandwich
Just to name a few. I am so glad that he is independant. I expect so much out of him and he does so much to help me with whatever I need!
