Our Own Biggest Looser

My family has officially started our own Biggest Looser! We had official weigh-ins last night and our end date is May 23rd! The funnest part about it is that my Dad is sponsoring it. . . whoever looses the highest percentage of body weight wins the grand prize!!

The contestants include me and Tyler, my 2 sisters and their husbands, and my parents. We told my little brother and his girlfriend that they could play too but both of them are as skinny as they can get!

Wish us luck!

Hunter and the Eye Doctor

We took Hunter to the eye doctor to check out his eyes. We found out that everything is healthy!! He still has a small lazy eye but something that the doctor thinks he will grow out of. His pupils dialate at a different rate than one another but that could be normal. We have another check up in 3 months! it was a good day!

My Big Break

Today I got a big break. Thanks to my mom, my sister Kristal, and to Grandma Nancy! I rounded up 3 baby-sitters for the day and I cleaned the house all by myself!! This is how it went:
  • Arranged all 3 tenders
  • Finally made it out the door after 2 hours of hurrying to make the day happen
  • Dropped Justin off at Kristal's
  • Dropped Hunter off at Grandma Sing's
  • Dropped Fisher off at Grandma Nancy's
  • Arrived home after 1 hour of running kids around and started cleaning like a mad woman
  • I finally finished cleaning and got out of the shower and headed out the door with wet hair and not a stitch of make-up on to pick up the boys.
  • I arrived at my Mom's house and made Mom, Dad and Kjell dinner
  • Fed babies and came home.

It was such a great day. I got the entire house cleaned from top to bottom. I also cleaned behind the fridge and under the stove. And I finally got to clean the water-spotted dirty blinds around the master bathtub! All those wonderful water spots came from Justin splashing in the tub!

I think I am going to have to have breaks like this more often!! Thanks to all my tenders...I couldn't have done it without you.

Oh, and to top it all off...I didn't even have to cook dinner. We got McDonalds....I was pooped!

The twins are 4 months old

I cant believe that we have reached the 4-month mark! Horray for us! Fisher is on the left. Hunter is the one with all the hair.

Fisher:
15 lbs and 24 3/4 inches. Fisher loves to sit up and watch what is happening around him. He is full of smiles almost 100% of the time. He will smile at anyone who will talk to him. He thinks we are playing when we change his diaper! He loves to sit in his bumbo chair. He sucks on his fists and arms like you wouldn't believe. He is sleeping so good. Usually we put him to bed at 9:30 pm and he sleeps until 7:00 am. Fisher has been our best baby yet!
Hunter:
11 lbs 9 oz and 24 inches long. He is our "bite-size" little guy. Hunter loves to be snuggled by anyone; recently we discovered that he has a particular liking to Grandpa Clark. Hunter likes to sleep in the swing. As soon as we try to move him he wakes up. He takes lots of mini naps but nothing really long. Hunter has a hard time digesting his food so we are trying a new approach to try to get him to feel better and not have a stomach ache all of the time. Hunter loves to lay on his tummy so he gets lots of tummy time. Hunter isn't quite sleeping through the night but I only have to wake up with him once and that is usually around 4:00 am.

We finally moved them out of our room and into their own room. They sleep in their own cribs now so that they don't disturb each other. Tyler has been an awesome husband and has woken up with me to feed babies every single night since we brought them home from the hospital. Hopefully Fisher will continue to sleep through the night and I can handle feeding Hunter when he wakes up.

Justin is an awesome big brother. He is very protective of his two brothers. Justin is also a BIG help. Every morning Justin gets his shopping basket and gathers up the dirty diapers from the night before and takes them to the diaper bucket in the garage. He also is into dumping all of the bathroom and bedroom garbage cans into the kitchen can and then throwing the garbage sack into the garage. It seems like every time I go to throw something away there is no sack in the can! I love that Justin loves to help with the "chores".
The joys of having two babies is holding them both. Usually they get so hot that you really start to sweat. Tyler holds Fisher under Hunter; I do it just opposite. All 3 of my boys. I love moments like this. Hunter is the one who lloks like he is tuck in my armpit.
