Hunter at 9 months

Oh, our sweet Hunter baby is doing so well. He is growing and getting stronger everyday. He is all about comfort. He doesn't want to be entertained but comforted. He likes to snuggle with Mom, Dad and Justin.

Hunter weighs 16 lbs 10 oz and is 28 inches long. He is closing the weight gap between him and Fisher from 7 lbs at 6 months old to about 5 1/2 lbs. He is our little bite-size!

Hunter loves to kick back and relax in his high chair; he can get in the funniest positions sometimes. He likes to eat mush (baby cereal) and baby food. He is like a little bird when he eats; he just sits there with his mouth open. He likes food better than his bottle. He has been rolling for about a month now and keeps his head up so well. He can roll from his back to his tummy and then back to his back. He has this little laugh cry that just steals your heart. Hunter likes to be rocked and snuggled to sleep; no laying him in his crib awake. He is very sporadic on nap time but he is getting better. He loves to stick his feet straight in the air and he is always holding onto his toes.

Kids on the Move has been coming to our home to help us with Hunter's development. We focus on fine and gross motor skills. We have been doing this for about 5 months and he is improving each month. Hunter acts like he was born 2 months early. But everyone feels like by age two he will be caught up to his actual age. We pray for that each day.

Here Hunter is in his high chair all kicked back.

This is not an often occurrence where Hunter falls asleep without being held.
Hunter is learning to sit in the bumbo. He does better each time.

Yes, I have already given them licorice.

Oh, and Hunter got the first tooth. So far that is the only tooth between the two of them. They are both cutting other teeth but they are yet to break through.

We love you Hunter!
