This year Justin has really enjoyed the Take Home Reading Program at school. Each day he brings home a new book to read. He has to read it and be able to tell me what happened in the story. He started at Level A in September and has worked really hard each and every day to read the book and improve his reading. He made it to Level F by the end of the year. He is such a good little reader. He didn't know how to read anything when he started Kingergarten. By Christmas time he was reading his take-home-books all by himself but still struggled to re-tell the story. By the end of Kindergarten he was reading the story and re-telling it!
I am so proud of him for participating in the Take Home Reading Program! He is such a good little reader!
