We now officially have a 2nd kitchen in our basement. This was Tyler's project from March thru April of this year. He did a fabulous job. He installed the cabinets himself. His brother, Lee, helped with the crown molding.
Tyler made the butcher block top for the island. This took some talking for me to give in and let him try something 'different'. I love it and think it is the best part of the kitchen. He bought the butcher block, cut it to size, sanded, stained, sanded, stained and probably sanded and stained again. It was a lot of work but he did an amazing job with it.
One great thing about the downstairs kitchen is the farmer style sink. It is massive. It doesn't have a center divider so it makes it one big sink. It is so easy to wash in!
Tyler finished the stools to match the butcher block top. Everything looks so awesome!
